Lou DiPalma manages Garnet’s origination and sale efforts. Lou’s asset brokerage experience includes credit cards, installment loans, mortgage and commercial loan products. Prior to forming Garnet in 2004, as a founding member of the Keefe, Bruyette & Woods loan sales group, Lou led the establishment of a successful practice providing loan brokerage and valuation expertise to the community bank sector. Lou helped build Cohane Rafferty’s distressed-asset sales and advisory business beginning in 1987 and is a leading figure in this marketplace. He has written for and been widely quoted in numerous industry publications including American Banker, The Financial Times (London) and Collections & Credit Risk. He is a frequent speaker at industry-sponsored events and has chaired Source Media’s National Collection and Credit Risk Conference.
